Maddie's mocks proved very useful in the run up to my SQE2 exams. The mocks were incredibly similar to the real exam, both in terms of complexity, topics, and amount of materials (for stations like Legal Research, for example). I failed SQE2 May last year (58%) and resat in January this year- and I got 75%!! I emailed you back in December last year and asked for some help with my CAMA and you provided me some helpful feedback as well as some kind reassurance . The first time I prepped I watched all your tutorials and then did mocks. I realise now I just didn’t leave myself enough time to learn everything well enough. I also didn’t fully appreciate the marking criteria (I omitted to do an overview of the facts or next steps in the relevant exams). The second time I had done the tutorials already so I concentrated more on the outlines re the law, and learning the marking criteria.. and did as many mocks as I could as I found them more helpful than anything. I found the video recording of the advocacy mock by a previously student really helpful too , again I had no idea that I should spend that long on the overview of the facts. Remarkably I got full 5s across the board in both advocacy exams this time! I found your materials to be the best option for me as they were accessible in my own time- the other options involve enrolling in a course (for thousands of pounds) and having to adhere to their timings . I work full time and was self funding my SQEs so I needed something affordable that I could pick up and work through in my own time. I found something similar for SQE1 - I just wanted materials to work through on my own.

The materials were excellent, showed a real lived understanding of the exams (not demonstrated by the main providers in my view), and were a significant contributor to me passing the exams on my first attempt. I sat SQE2 in January 2026 while working a full-time job managing a legal team in a global law firm. I studied with one of the main providers for SQE1 and SQE2, but felt the SQE2 materials were lacking. I was pretty limited on time, so I was very selective about the materials I used. I discovered Maddie’s materials later in the process (in the last few weeks), but they were an absolute lifesaver. I bought the mock exams package, and they really helped simplify areas I was struggling with, particularly the (awful) research tasks. The mocks (with both skeleton and full answers) were genuinely useful touchpoints with excellent structure. Maddie’s quick guidance videos were also an excellent supplement to the mocks and not something I was expecting for the price. The description of the tasks and the layout of the mocks very closely mirrored the real thing, which made a big difference going into the exams. I passed SQE2 very comfortably on my first attempt, and I am not sure I would have done so without this. Highly recommend to anyone sitting the SQE2 exams.

I used inhousew mocks to prepare for my SQE2 exams and found the materials extremely useful throughout my preparation. The resources were very well structured, easy to follow, and closely mirrored the real level of difficulty of the exam, which helped me feel well prepared on the day. For context, I narrowly missed passing SQE2 on my first attempt, scoring 60%. For my second attempt, I started practising mocks much earlier in my preparation, and this made a significant difference. Being able to practise consistently and familiarise myself with the style and level of the assessments was truly a game changer in helping me pass. This is a very subjective question and will depend on your background and education.

I personally would recommend to purchase a SQE2 preparation course, as this will provide you with all the tools to have the best chance to pass on your first attempt. If you cannot afford or do not wish to purchase a preparation course, my resources, a good set of textbooks and practice with mock questions from other providers are a combination that have enabled past students to pass.

Yes. All mocks include sample answers to help with self-marking.

They are intentionally written as near perfect answers. You are NOT expected to reproduce them word-for-word. Aim for about 70% coverage of the sample answer to be exam-safe.

Note as well that there may be additional correct points you think of that may not be in the sample answer. 

No. The single subject mocks, and 24x & 76x mocks packages are purely self-study. Feedback is available separately via 1:1 services.

Yes — the outlines are structured to comprehensively cover everything listed in the SRA Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK).

I try my best to keep all materials updated on an ongoing basis, and in relation to the outlines, tracked-change versions are always available on the platform so you can see what has changed. That said, in honesty, it is difficult to keep up with such a broad and fast-moving syllabus, so there may be gaps between changes in the law and updates to the materials. For that reason, I always recommend revising with multiple materials (e.g. textbooks and provider notes alongside my materials) to ensure you have the most up-to-date law to hand.

Yes. All materials are downloadable and usable offline. The course is hosted on Teachable, which can be accessed through any browser or via the Teachable app on your device.

For written feedback, please send your answer at least 5 days before your scheduled call (if you’ve booked one), so I have time to prepare.

For oral mocks, the practice is done live with me on Google Meet, and I’ll send written feedback within 1–2 days after the session.
