This is a very subjective question and will depend on your background and education.
I personally would recommend to purchase a SQE2 preparation course, as this will provide you with all the tools to have the best chance to pass on your first attempt. If you cannot afford or do not wish to purchase a preparation course, my resources, a good set of textbooks and practice with mock questions from other providers are a combination that have enabled past students to pass.

Yes. All mocks include sample answers to help with self-marking.
They are intentionally written as near perfect answers. You are NOT expected to reproduce them word-for-word. Aim for about 70% coverage of the sample answer to be exam-safe.
Note as well that there may be additional correct points you think of that may not be in the sample answer.
No. The single subject mocks, and 24x & 64x mocks packages are purely self-study. Feedback is available separately via 1:1 services.
Yes — the outlines are structured to comprehensively cover everything listed in the SRA Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK).
I try my best to keep all materials updated on an ongoing basis, and in relation to the outlines, tracked-change versions are always available on the platform so you can see what has changed. That said, in honesty, it is difficult to keep up with such a broad and fast-moving syllabus, so there may be gaps between changes in the law and updates to the materials. For that reason, I always recommend revising with multiple materials (e.g. textbooks and provider notes alongside my materials) to ensure you have the most up-to-date law to hand.
Yes. All materials are downloadable and usable offline. The course is hosted on Teachable, which can be accessed through any browser or via the Teachable app on your device.
For written feedback, please send your answer at least 5 days before your scheduled call (if you’ve booked one), so I have time to prepare.
For oral mocks, the practice is done live with me on Google Meet, and I’ll send written feedback within 1–2 days after the session.

My refund policy varies depending on the product purchased:
⚠️ For packages that include 1:1 feedback (Ultimate / Advantage+), it is your responsibility to book your sessions. I cannot guarantee availability — especially close to exam periods.
If we can’t find a mutually agreeable time slot, you must let me know within 2 weeks of purchase to be eligible for a refund of the feedback portion (this is due to my payment processor’s refund window and is not something I can override).
📌 If your exam is more than 3 months away, I recommend starting with the Advantage Package. You can always upgrade to the Ultimate or Advantage+ later — just email me for a coupon code when you’re closer to your exam date.
Yes, absolutely. Nothing stresses me out more than the thought of not meeting a student’s expectations. If you’re unsure about purchasing any of the non-refundable items — such as outlines or mocks — you’re very welcome to email me at madeleine@inhousew.com and request a sample before purchasing.
These products are non-refundable because they are instant digital downloads and short-form resources, but I’m more than happy to provide a preview so you can feel confident in your decision.
